"Medicare Advantage Plans"
What Is Medicare Part C?
Medicare Part C is also known as the Medicare Advantage Plan. These plans are either an HMO or PPO. These plans are offered by private insurance companies, approved by Medicare.

These type of plans will combine parts A, B, and D coverage into one plan. With these plans you are eligible for additional benefits such as: Vision, Dental, Hearing, Transportation, and/or Health and Wellness at no additional costs. Keep in mind that you will continue to have the Part B monthly premium cost.

It is important to know that each Medicare Advantage plan provider can charge different out-of-pocket costs and they may have different rules for how you obtain the services you need. Your costs may also vary depending on the plan you choose.
