What Is Retirement Planning?
Retirement planning is the process of setting and determining retirement income goals. With retirement planning you cover the actions and decisions that are necessary to achieve the goals you have for retirement.

With retirement planning, you will identify the sources of your income, go over your expenses, decide on a savings program that works for you, and manage your assets and risk.

A retirement planner will also be needed when you decide to retire as you will need help with the transfer of your retirement funds into an account that works best for you.
Although I do not directly work on the retirement end of the business, I do currently work closely with a couple of local retirement specialists. They can explain everything you need, and with their expertise can assist you with making a well informed decision with your assets.
