What Is Vision Insurance?
Vision Insurance is a great supplemental insurance option for Medicare and Marketplace Health care plans. Similar to general health care, preventative care is important for vision as well.

Vision plans typically cover yearly eye exams while also helping pay for glasses or contacts. It is important to note though, that not every vision plan is the same, and coverage points will vary from company to company.

It is important to note that if the Health care plan you choose does not come with Adult vision coverage, then you can buy a stand alone vision plan to help reduce costs associated with Vision care. Typically, the marketplace does not offer stand-alone vision plans, so I am dedicated to help you get into the right plan at the least amount of out of pocket expense.

Eye Exams: These are a series of tests performed to assess one's vision as well as their ability to focus on and discern objects. These also typically include other tests and examinations pertaining to the eyes.

Glasses or Contacts: Typically, vision benefits will help pay a portion of glasses or contacts if they are needed. Please do keep in mind - that this could vary depending on the company and the coverage chosen.
